 STKx1 UD (uni-directional) fabric is popularly applied in the ballistic fields of soft armor where high performance and less weight is required. The material is composed of Ultra High Molecular Weight Polyethylene (UHMWPE) fiber and special resin matrix, which is processed by unique process and environmental. It is composed of 4 layers of uni-directional Polyethylene fiber tapes cross-plied at the structure of 0°/90°/0°/90°. Its 4-layer structure is good for reducing the trauma of heavy bullet and stopping the bullet earlier.
